Chicken and Potatoes in Tomato-Cinammon Sauce

Use chicken pieces. This recipe is about right for one cut-up chicken, or an equivalent amount of whatever pieces you prefer. Skins can be left on or removed according to your taste. Cut potatoes into roughly 2 inch chunks. I use enough potatoes so that their volume is approximately equal to the volume of chicken, but this proportion can be varied.

Saute 1 onion and 3 cloves garlic with chicken and potatoes.
Add 1-15 oz can of tomato sauce, salt, pepper and a couple of whole cinnamon sticks.
Simmer till chicken and potatoes are done.
